We are a generation seemingly obsessed with the environment, eager to cover our carbon footprints in any way possible--or at least give off a green vibe visible to our neighbors). This is, at long last, the production-ready Alfa Romeo 4C. The mid-engined sports car will make its debut at the 2013 Geneva motor show in March and go on sale shortly afterwards in Europe. The 4C will also spearhead Alfa’s revival in the United States.

Last autumn, CAR's spy photographers caught a mystery supercar test mule at a Midlands track, sparking a frenzy of speculation that it was the next supercar from Lotus, McLaren, Noble and other specialist sports car firms. Dozens of readers posted their suggestions, helping us to narrow down the chase. CAR discovered that it was a much-delayed tie-up between C2P Automotive and MotorCity Europe.
